Did you know that children learn between 4,000 to 12,000 words per year by simply reading! his week-long event highlights the importance of early literacy and encourages parents and educators to inspire children to embrace reading from an early age. Developing strong reading skills boosts a child’s vocabulary and enhances cognitive abilities, problem-solving skills, and imagination. Beyond these long-term benefits, reading can be a fun and enriching way to bond with your children.

National Young Readers Week is the perfect time to inspire young minds reading at the beach about the ocean and experiencing it riding on a boogie board (surfboards, paddle boards & kayaks for the older “children of any age”).
